VS 150 on a 10'?

Is it to small or can I get by with it on a GSB120IL?

Thanks

Paul, I would think for what you would be doing you want at least a 200. Of course how often are you going to be swimming? That combo would probably get you by when you do and would be great for those walks you take out into the water.

Thanks - then the question also becomes is the VS 200 to big on the 9' 1084 - which is what I would use it on 90% of the time. I would only put it on the 10' occasionally.

Thanks again!

I have a 250, and use it on both an 8' Star and a 10' Tsunami Airwave. Very comfortable with it on both.
I don't have a 200 (can only cover the one VS!!!), but since the 250 is fine on the Star I wouldn't think that it would be too big for a 9'.

If you're going to use the 9' 1084 90% of the time go with the vs150. I have that same exact setup and it's a perfect match. I've also had the 150 on a 10', it will work.

I fish a 150 on a 10' Conoflex and have used it for years. Pretty whippy rod, though.

Agreed. Get the 200, super versatile.

The 250 really would be fine too. It looks a little silly on a 9' but only weighs a tiny bit more than the 200 so it would be fine.

VS200 on a 1088 and a SUR1266... Never wanted anything more...or less.

I have my 150 on a 1088, perfectly matched.
and a 200 on a SSU1201 MH. Gets a bit heavy at the end of the night, but solid.

Used hard and put away dirty....

I use my 200 on my nine and ten foot rods about equally and have never desired another size for any reason.

200 9 FT ROD
250 10 FT ROD
300 11 FT ROD

Of corse it is all what you like but that's what I use, and I feel it is the best matched
