Weekend Plans ??

What's up for the weekend?

Nothing but resting a back (screwed up a week ago - still down) and maybe some geek work. Closest thing to fishing will be cutting the Kelp in my yard and maybe tying some leaders)

So what's up for the weekend?

I dunno, maybe figuring out what the hell to do with a full pallet of pavers Mrs Crafty won at a landscaping open house at one of the garden centers here on the island a few weeks ago

I just moved a full pallet of them last month redoing the yard - and now I've got another one to deal with...

Mrs Crafty: "Hey, hon - remember that contest I entered for the bricks? You'll never guess who called!"

Me:

Sorry to say it looks like we're going to use them, Cap - with the 'we' being in the editorial sense for the most part...

Looks like the weather's gonna break next week too - so at least I can get painting on the house while I'm resting from the brick work...

Ya know, I keep thinking - hey, this oughta fill up the old cookie jar - maybe I could do the Block or Cutty or something really cool in the Fall...

Suuuurrre.....

Actually, in all honesty, my bride does pitch in - thank God I married a German farm girl from the Midwest

Wink

Tidy up the yard for Jenn's RISD Girl week. Maybe take the yak out and see if I can keep it right side up.

Working on the exterior of my humble home.
Spending quality time with my sometimes wonderful wife.
...and dreaming of the fall run, hoping I will be done with everything I set out to do this year

Heading out on the annual codfishing trip on the yankee capts. One of these days a tuna will take that jig.

Everything is better on the rocks.
