Forced to hit the ice
Maaaan, I wasn't ready for this. Checked out a few ponds this morning to find them capped over ...I was forced to find some some save hard water....Fishing wasn't bad and nothing on the tip-ups, but the jigging was good a few bass and some Jumbo perch...had about 6 over a pound. I guess it fills the spot....Here comes the ice.

Yellow perch is one of the tastiest fish IMO.
Those are some very nice fish. I got to try ice fishing one of these days.

There are a couple of ponds on the Cape that are ice-fishable. We got out there today for a few hours and got a couple yellow perch... and a half dozen or so pickerel. Might try again tomorrow if we are not digging out of the snow!
