I hope to start testing by newly rebuilt Suzuki by early April!

Finish renovating the first floor in my house by 3/1 so I can allow myself to think about fishing and then tie leaders all month in March. After that just alot of long scouting walks with dog #1 scouting spots and parking.

Yeah I know what you mean "Hooligan"! I got a neighbor with a nice Parker he could catch fish from but he chooses to scuba dive and let me catch all his fish for him! Talk about slow! He is a good neighbor though!

Welcome to S-B Paul!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Attack the chores early. Gonna hold off fishing until mid-late May. If it's drier than last year try to get the house painted and repaired. Then start pounding sand again.

Keep either 5/22 or 5/23 open. I'm taking you fishing.
And bring all those nice plugs you have that are collecting dust. It's a shame that they don't get used.

Well, after reading the MSBA action alert postings. I'm now convinced that I've been an idiot releasing all the bass I catch. So next year I am going to kill every bass I legally can. I may even get a Mass commercial license to make extra money so that I can buy a couple of Zeebas reels. Don't want to take a chance on any of them getting away. Heck, I'm 60-years old why should I be concerned any more.

OK, rant is over.

Actually, Wednesday I get my shoulder operated on so my main focus will be getting it back in shape by the start of the season.

Bringing back the Ledge Runner Baits will be my early focus, now that my friend John has finally completed the shop and the high production pot is on order. I don't think I'd have lasted all season on my remaining stock and my favorite colors have been gone for at least a year. Need to get around to the local shops and John pm me on sponsorship money, want to get that set up right away.

I am on my third season of learning the canal. I am going to work on catching with jigs there some more. I also plan on focusing more on a plan, than just flying by the seat of my pants.

thats why they call it fishing not catching

when your down in the chessie

make sure to use lots of live bait and hook those breeders deep.

we wouldn't want them to survive the run to their spawning grounds

make sure u release them all the bloody ones too, we wouldn't want to waste a spawner.

Learn the canal better. Started my scouting today... Nice three mile walk, looking for and noting rips and structure. If I keep this up I might actually be in shape for fishing season
