"Leave it

to the lawyers to tell you what your rights are."

God help us.

Not exactly an unruly thread but it's locked now.

Quite a closing argument.
Who needs opinions when we have lawyers to voice them for you?

Last time I talk with you at a bonfire.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Chris, what's to argue? There was law being interpreted by a lawyer and and an engineer knowledgeable in transportation access and issues. Good advice I think. Could suck, could suck royally. might not be any change at all.

Where to opine? Fester a "Hell no we won't go"? Make threats?

Or make more of a stink and aggravate something that might just go away.

I think we give it a chance to let it quietly go away - that could benefit us the most. If it goes against us and becomes a big issue, maybe then is the time to make a stink.

It wasn't much of an argument to me,no horse in the race so to speak. I just didn't think there was a reason to lock it up. Nobody was being a #^&#^&#^&#^& or disrespectful. Maybe I have odd ideas of entertainment but I periodically check on threads for content as I was doing in this one.I thought this was a board created for discussion and this was a discussion I found worth reading.People were having a roundtable and it was in control .I honestly thought common sense prevailed but at the expense of missing valuable Ravenisms.Don't overestimate the power of SB's threads, they are as harmless as Ravens words and the stink would travel no farther than the monitor. That thread started and concluded with overreaction.Let me get back to torturing bluefish to make people laugh and I'll be fine.

Hehehe - I don't overestimate the value of S-B threads - sometimes they are good sometimes they are not - that box of chocolate thing.

When some are advocating doing something stupid - even in jest, it can't always be taken lightly. Sometimes, just sometimes, it might be best to let things fade away.
