the swell cometh
truly a weird nite of fishin, especially weather wise. T storms missed us, wind kept changin, fishin were HAMMERIN eels, a few smalls ate, and we got the shat beat out of us. A couple of times it got soooo dark we couldn't see each other 15 ft apart. It was amazing how quickly the swell built. So dark at times you couldn't see the waves till you got blasted and cleaned away. Gonna be interestin to see how big it gets tom especially with the pedicted SW honkin winds.....be careful near the stones

Nice real low tide here last night so after moving through 200 yards of rock weed covered rock and wading out another 200 yards started fishing. With little warning suddenly the sky lights up with constant lightning, pouring rain, and wind. There I stand holding a 10' graphite lightning rod. Made for a hurried walk back to shore.

taking waves in the chest is one thing, but getting knocked off my perch is another. Starts to get annoying after a while. Give me a calm night with a light wind anyday. &$?$ that whitewater nonesense.

I got my butt kicked the other night all for chomped eels and small bass. It was fun for a little while untill I realized how stupid it was for me to be out there.
