WTB: Sliding Compound Miter Saw
Anyone have a decent slider they'd like to unload?
I'm going to get one as I have a lot of wide trim and some cabinet work that it will really help on. Figured I'd ask here first. Looking for 10" ideally (just cause I don't need a 12") and has to be in good working order.
Also looking for a decent stand.
Otherwise I might just get the Dewalt at Lowes. Not cheap but it's a pretty good price and few makers do a decent quality 10".
Thanks,
-spence

Rent one
I don't do anything that fast to make that a wise investment. I'd rather buy new and just resell. A lot cheaper...

Look at reconditioned. I have purchsed many recon tools at a pretty good price. They usually come with the same warranty as new. I like Hitachi and Bosch myself. I get them at reconditionedsales.com. Have had good luck with them.

Hell, I gave one of those away some time ago. Nice old Craftsman that weighed a ton.
Too big unless you have a real shop though. Thanks for the offer!

I've got the Dewalt sliding compound miter saw (DW708) with the stand.
I could probably loan it to you but it's a republican saw !!!
