Korkers Torrent or Ultra-lite

I need new boots for the occasional time I use the wetsuit. Cabelas has the torrent for $40 and the high top ultra lights for $50. I'll put my wearbars on them. I'm not really concerned with the extra support of the ultra lights.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Paul

Haven't used the torrents (feet are too big) but I know a lot of people who swear by 'em. Definitely easier to swim in sneakers than boots, that's for sure.

If you're just going to put werebars in them, why shell out the loot for the korkers product? An old pair of sneakers should do the trick, and you could use that cash to get more werebars for replacement/extra grip...

Paul,
Check the Sierra Trading post web page. They have Korker boots on sale now for $13 and $23 bucks depending on type.

Get them while you can - they are discontinued.

The replacement model has some mesh on the sides that doesn't strike me as surf friendly.

I ordered both pairs and Cabelas will deliver them to the store next week. I'll get to try them both and decide. Thanks all!
