How about a Fish Pics thread?

We haven't done one in a while - how about a fish pics thread for 2002 (BM - maximum of 4 pics )...

I'm trying to think if anyone took pics of me with fish, I know I got some pics of others.

Cool Block Island 2002

Mid July, pea soup morning turned into a 90 degree bluebird. In between tug-o-war with the lobster traps, we caught a few stripers.

May of last year, Cape Hatteras NC. Took the 31' Bertram down to Hatteras, first trip in 18 months due to a whole lotta work(new engines, new deck, lotta glass work, lotta head aches), but she turned out beautiful. Any way, here's some Gulf Stream Yellowfins, man were they tasty.

This is fun on a beautiful day like today... I actually believe that spring may come now.

Karen and I started off the our '02 fishing on the Indian River, FL and although the weather (wind) was bad and sight fishing for redfish was difficult, we had several hours of fun with some jack crevalle. We also each broke off large reds while drifting pinfish in the Sebastian Inlet.

After a great season fishing Boston Harbor and the south shore, we pretty much ended our year with a trip to Nantucket.

My dad was there and we did alot of fishing. My oldest daughter fished with me quite a bit as well.

Britta and I combined to take this bass and that's my dad's first albie... the background was a bluefish blitz off of Tuckernuck I.

And finally, other than fishing with my wife, dad and daughter, this was my favorite moment of the year when I completed a northeast slam off the Madaket flats catching these 4 fish in an hour and a half.

Catching an albie on the flats is pretty wild... the fish went ballistic in the shallow water and it was pretty cool to see the whole fight.

Sorry, I cheated the 4 picture limit, but I actually was putting together some stuff for my dad and had these already done.

Thanks Van... things are going great.

Are you sure that wasn't just a bait cooler from a striper trip? I don't think you're alowed to chunk trout.

Van,

The pic was taken by an outfit called boat pics. They fly around in a helocopter taking shots then they send you a letter inquiring if you would like to purchase the shots.
