Butterfish in Rhode Island Sound
Big schools of butterfish hard on the bottom in Rhode Island Sound. More than we've seen in recent years. Butterfish tend to hang over soft bottoms in 100-plus feet of water---

Maybe this has drawn some bass from there usual haunts.
