They are still here........

After a skunking yesterday morning (outgoing) the fishing was red hot last night (incoming) with 2 of us taking 13 fish over 30lbs the biggest a 34.9 thats in the picture. If your wondering if thats sweat it not, its water from taking a fall after losing my balance on the set-up. This fish was the best fight I had this year! Lost a 40+ close to shore because of laziness and thinking I could use my leader on more than one big fish, something which I never do.

I personally think we have 1-2 weeks of solid fishing left. Hearing all these reports that "its over" and the fish by-passed many locations...I just dont see this to be true. Talking with a few friends of mine this morning that were fishing 5 miles to the north....they had the same results although fishing a different method on a sandy beach. Either way I wish everyone luck and safe journeys.

That's a beauty and it's nice to hear you got into a group of big fish. I think they're just starting to show as the water starts to cool down after this hot summer.

One thing's for sure, I am not hangin'em up yet.
