Pleasure To Meet Ya

Hiya folks,

The show was great and it was really nice to meet many folks from this great site and the opportunity to reacquaint a few longtime buddies.

Yo BM - you are loony bud, Bruce Slipknot – You are a class act bud, Specialist – FYI, Gary says many ugly things about ya. , Flaptail – dude, I had no idea you were that short… , Got Stripers – Ya better NOT tell them my sample colors or else, JohnR – If your “Be right back” means 4 hours… I am afraid to know what your “Be back in a few” means?

It was nice to meet up with WeeWee and Hans. You guys went out of town and bought a mess of goodies and I had a hard time trying to ho them! The usual suspects Mike Laptew, Gary Corsetti and Ron Arra were good sport and probably had enough of my gag tricks. I also had the privilege to meet Ron’s good buddy Stan and his extraordinair vintage lure collector!

Also, much to my surprize, it was good to see Dennis Ryan from Gibbs and Craig Cantelmo from Van Staal again.
Oh yeah…. I also had the honor to meet Mr. Lex lures and NIB… and they even showed me some of their new prototypes.
Let's not forget my RFA friend- Michael Doubley.... Who busy running around and promoting the good RFA missions!

Gosh - I met soooo many other folks and my head still spinning. To be quite honest, it literally took me over 4 hours just to make my rounds and I didn’t even get the chance to meet a few of you nor catch Tony Stetszko’s session.

All in all, the AquaSkinz Drytop was a hit! We received some incredible feedback from the shops and we are currently going to follow up with a few selective shops.

On the way back… A few of us had a big meal at Newport. Yummy! Thanks to my partner Kadir and diehard SurfPirate for splitting the long drive back.

Once again, it was really nice to meet you folks and I look forward to meeting you on the water and possibly wet a line together!

Yo Ben,

Yes, it was a looooong day... and we ate at a very nice seafood/stake place in Newport. R.I.

We nearly broke down. But we needed to head back... cause we had to attend another early fishing event. Afterwards... I managed to fish until 1 am.

This is good cause it is time to start tunning up the body for those sleepless marathon nights.

Yo Mike,
I thought you knew that we were passing your area?
Besides... I don't think you wanted a bunch of loonies dropping by your house around 6 am on a Saturday morning or a bunch of sorry sickies visiting your house around 10 PM for one hours?

If you do.... We could do that next time.

BTW: Send me an email when you can.

C.A. I never got to see that aqua skinz either
Nice meeting you finally.
BTW, I think those lures were not Stan's but belonged to Ed Poure. Stan is another treasure I have to talk to every time I get the chance.

Hey Got Stripers
Send me an email at Nonstopfisher@aol.com and let’s work on the colors.

JohnR
You are a good man and I am glad you got your priorities straight! Family always comes first!!!!
Iam sure that we will get together soon and maybe you gonna have to come down to the REAL mecca.

Slipknot… I know, I know, my partner was busy showing the jackets around and when I had the jackets… You were gone. But don’t ya worry… I will be back in your neck of the wood and I will personally show ya how good these drytops are. As to Stan… Yes, I agree! He is a treasure and so is big Ed Poure (thanks for reminding me his name)who has that incredible plug collections.

Hey Bettle, Yes, I remember you! My partner Kadir gave you his card… I was the gentleman next to him talking to Mr. Lex and holding his new prototype (yellow darter) lure. It was nice to meet ya!!!

Hey Specialist… Yes, the pleasure was all my. Make sure you abuse Gary Corsetti next time and don’t forget to call him a plummer.

MakoMike… Yo bub… Send me an email and I will forward you my new phone number! This is going to be a very interesting year and I plan on fishing your backyard often.

Yo BM... Where are ya?
