Iranian Airspace
I just got an email from a friend that I had to share. I cut and pasted but the picture of the jet is missing. I guess this happened very recently.
Love it! This has got to be one of the greatest quotes of all time.

Iranian Air Defense Site: 'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.'
Aircraft: 'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.'
Air Defense Site: 'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!'
Aircraft: 'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll wait!'
Air Defense Site: ( .... total silence)
God bless our troops.
There is something about a Marine that makes other countries listen to reason.

Yup, fake! I feel pretty stupid now. I did a quick search and this same thing came up on a few other aviation boards as fake. I'm really sorry guys. Next time I'll be more careful.
