It depends on the size of the hen, is it a game hen, or a domestic chicken hen, is it big or small, i would say 10 pounds

Not all the holes and iron you find in rocks were bass stands.
Some stands were built for sea duck hunting.
Temporary docks were also constructed to off load lumber to build large waterfront houses in difficult spots around the turn of the last century.
