r u ice fishing the cape ?

the ice is safe? bearly ...3,4,5" of hard ice ...most all ponds....fishing is good not great but ok....this wk1pd 5 trout on jigs,1pd trout n 1- 10lb salm all c/r ....1pd all nice perch 10 to 14"...i'm still cleaning them.... winter perch filtes deep fried taste like fresh water haddock

don't ice fish myself Dave.. but while on my Nickerson Park walk yesterday, I saw several guys out giving it a go, on all ponds... made me think of Flap... and gave me a smile as I thought of conversations with him, and his "sayings"...

Got a nice 2 lb lmb on a pond in falmouth today... lots of little perch on the jigs

I ventured out on a small pond this past weekend that had @ 6 inches of ice. The pickerel (which is really all that is in this pon) were out in full force. In 3 hours... my son & I caught 17 fish. Lots of fun for a 7 year old!
