Coyote on my deck!
So my wife and I are sitting here by the wood stove watching the Celtics game and she says to me "I think the dog just came up on the deck, can you let him in please?" As I get up and go to the door my dog comes out of the dining room and follows me to the door. A bit surprised at the fact that there was niose on the deck and my dog was inside, I flip the light on. "Holt s%#$!!! Theres a coyote looking at me. My dog attack the glass....the coydog is on the other side growling at the dog. I fly to the gun safe, by the time I return a minute later he is standing in the middle of the yard. I put the scope on him as he walked behind the wood shed. Never got a clean shot. Needless to say the bride thinks he's going to come back and eat her in her sleep. It would have been soooo much better if this happened while she was shopping at the mall. The past few weeks we've been hearing them, theres been several sightings but this was the first encounter.

coyotes are so smart it's amazing .....when the females go into heat
they go out alone to lure small dogs into the woods following the scent and then the PACK attacks them and eats them -> all part of a plan
