...WINTER STORM WATCH FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY NIGHT...

THIS WATCH INCLUDES NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT...ALLOF RHODE ISLAND...AND ALL OF MASSACHUSETTS EXCEPT BERKSHIRE COUNTY.THE WATCH MEANS THAT THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY FOR MORE THAN 6 INCHES OF SNOW.

A POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT LATE SEASON SNOWSTORM IS EXPECTED MONDAYAFTERNOON INTO MONDAY NIGHT OVER MUCH OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN THE HARTFORD AND PROVIDENCE AREAS AROUND MIDDAY MONDAY...THEN SPREAD INTO ORANGE...WORCESTER...BOSTON AND HYANNIS DURING THE AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOW FROM THIS STORM SHOULD FALL LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY EVENING...IMPACTING THE MONDAY EVENING COMMUTE.

BY THE TIME THE SNOW ENDS LATE MONDAY NIGHT...THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED FROM HARTFORD TO PROVIDENCE AND PLYMOUTH. IN THESE LOCATIONS...TOTALS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

SURROUNDING THIS AREA...TOTALS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE FROM SPRINGFIELD TO WORCESTER AND BOSTON...AS WELL AS FROM WESTERLY TO CAPE COD AND THE ISLANDS. ALONG THE ROUTE 2 CORRIDOR IN NORTHERN MASSACHUSETTS...AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 6 INCHES ARE MOST LIKELY...HOWEVER WITH SOME UNCERTAINTY IN THE STORM TRACK THESE AREAS ALSO HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR MORE THAN 6 INCHES OF SNOW.STAY TUNED TO THE WEATHER CHANNEL AND WEATHER.COM FOR UPDATES....

Drove to Plymouth to pick up my boat today.
Uncovered it, removed the frame, and brought it home.
Heard the weather and covered it back up again.

um this is New England wait a few minutes it will change . I dont get mad till the end of April , then its unacceptable to snow . rain is good ! But I am tired of it ! trout season starts in 2 weeks river levels will be lower I hope by then . NOT !

Get ready up there! In Mid-NJ we got about two inches on the ground in the past two hours and no sign of stopping. It's wet stuff, too, really sagging the tree branches down. I guess like Yogi said, "It ain't over til it's over".
