Weekend Plans?? TFCTFN!!!

Yes - its Too Freickin' Cold To Fish Night this Saturday at the VFW Hall, Middle St, Fairhaven, Ma.

Come celebrate the end of a glorious winter (not) of snow, ice, and more snow while performing ritualistic Irish Voodoo Sun Dances, Rappin'Belly Flops, Gag awards, Real awards, and the best fun in New England since the demise of the Benny Hill show.

Cost $10 (this includes the significant other if you bring one - wife/GF/hubby - fishing partner does not count as significant other). Great food, Raffle, hanging out with Fellow S-Bers.

http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...march-5th.html

*** RAFFLE NOTE: I will not YET raffle off the Plug set as discussed at PlugFest. I've have been so busy with REAL job I have not kicked it off but will do over next few weeks, concluding at MSBA show ***

So what's up for the weekend?

I hope you and Angie can make it, Larry!

Tonight, I'm having boys night with my son while the wife goes out with the girls. Probably go out for dinner, then home to play some Wii, then I'll watch the Celts and work on my basement after he goes to bed.

TFTCN tomorrow night, then recover Sunday during the day and bowling league at night.

I have nothing for the weekend.......I'm going to enjoy that. I just want to relax, watch a movie or 2 with the family....in the mood to do some cooking so I might try some new concoction or something.

Me and the Girl might go see the new Red Riding Hood movie.....other than that...nada

Of Course....I haven't cleared this with the wife......for all i know I've been scheduled for 2 or 3 appearances some where

I'll be at the TFCTFN slavin away over a hot stove, then enjoying some cold beverages and good friends. Looking forward to a good raffle!

Ohhhhn #^&#^&#^&#^&...There goes the house now...Awesome...Charlie...Welcome to the Dark Side!!!

Saturday is "MAN DAY"

I'm up at 8 am and in the car at 9am. Meet a friend in Lakeville and off to Cigar Masters in Worcester to partipate in the NERF (the cigar collectors version of TFCTFDay) which is also a fundraiser for Wednesday's Child. Jack Williams is our Master Of Ceremonies every year.

For those who did not know, I am an avid cigar collector (more cigars than plugs...well close in number but the cigars are worth more).

Back to meet Wendy in Lakeville by 6:30 and off to the most badass group of fishing people amyone ever decided to waste a few thousand hours of their life with at the annual MUST ATTEND EVENT OF THE YEAR...TFCTFN!!!!

Sunday is sleep and Nascar all day.

Ok, Pat I don't get it. How the heck do you collect cigars? I have a humidor. It has cigars in it. Therfore, am I a cigar collector? Do you smoke your collection?

Collecting cigars is buying hard to get/rare cigars and saving and aging them for special occasions. The guys that can afford it buy boxes at a time and save them in very large humidors or coolidors (those large wine refrigerators converted to keep 70% humidity). I do eventually smoke stuff in my collection, as I don't believe the cigars will get any better after x number of years aging.

Patrick, you'll have to post some pics of your collection .

You know the quickest way to get there from So'east Mass. is rte. 18 to rte. 105. You bear left onto 105 where rte. bends sharply to the right in Lakeville. Come to the end of 105 in Fairhaven and take right. VFW second left maybe 500'. Took 35 to 40 minutes from East Bridgewater last year.
