Happy Easter!

What's up for the weekend?

Anyone fishing? Usually we're after active new keepers now, we still haven't had waves of schoolies yet

Question

I dunno, maybe chase a few holdovers in the Housy?

Still have to put that mulch down in the tree/flower beds, but that shouldn't take more than a few hours. If I'm feeling really ambitious I'll clean the gutters.

I'll be watching the kiddies all weekend. My wife had her wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday afternoon. She be out of commision for a few days. She wants to go to her Mom's house for Easter, we'll see how she feels. If we stay home, dinner may consist of chicken broth, with a side of yogurt and ice cream for dessert.

Happy Easter

Weekend into next week, was going to head up to the Cape to get the old house ready for summer occupancy, but Gramps nixed the idea due to sketchy weather and didn't want me spending my time swilling in Gina's or Clancy's all day because it was raining, so to occupy the kiddies during break, a trip to The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, then Sandy Hook (NJ) to check out the lighthouse, fort and fishing opportunities, then NJ Aquarium and Battleship NJ, maybe a fish hatchery, check out the commercial shad fishery operation on the Delaware, and probably try our luck at shadding and some lakes 'n cricks...but I'd still rather be heading North.

Happy Easter to y'all!

I'm going on a charter fishing trip for a half day for TROPHY-SIZED Stripers with a group of deaf students tomorrow. And also we will be targeting black drums, black sea bass, and tautogs.
On the easter day, we will have a big seafood cookout for everyone.

Saturday, buy more boat supplies and work on boat.

Sunday, work on boat and eat.

Doing the hang with the twins Sat until 1630 Little League practice. Easter church, then to sister's in Durham NH for dinner out with our mom.
Hope hands heal up enough for work on Mon and Tues, as rain reappears on Wed forecasts. (Split right index finger tip open Friday with rubba mallet. If it had been 5 degrees warmer it wouldn't have split. Looks like I put it head on into tablesaw, but feels ok. )

Still haven't gotten to test drive my new Saltheart Allstar.... looks like it's going to be another week anyway.
