Trailer tires any recommendations?

Yesterday on the way home heard a strange noise, when checking found one of the Goodyear Marathon treads had split revealing the steel belt. Looking at the reviews for these tires seems this happened to quite a few others..might check to see if there is any kind of recall or replacement offers HOWEVER looking for recommendations for other brands, going to replace all 4 before something serious happens at 65mph!

I regularly check tire pressure and keep tires off the ground in the winter. Boat moved frequently so no one area stays in touch with the ground for extended periods.

I bought my last tires and rims from these guys. Prices with shipping were still cheaper than anything I could find around here. I only have a single axle so 4 may be more expensive. Worth a look.

A couple of the Marathons looked sketchy on my 5th wheel. I switched all 4 to Maxxis tires. The camper forums around the net seemed to like them the best of all the trailer tires with the possible exception of Michelin Ribs. The Maxxis are much less expensive. Worked great all last year.

I bought them online (can't remember where? I'll try and look it up) w/ free shipping. I don't think too many local places stock the brand.

Edit: Can't seem to find the receipt in my email. A quick Google showed them available at Discount Tire Direct, w/ free shipping.

Thanks all. Found 4 tires @$70 each (loaded stems/tax/disposal). Westgate Tire & Auto Brockton. Installed right on tailer.

Great service, highly recommend.

4 what? A majority of trailer tires are unfortunately made in China. RV'ers not so affectionately call them "tire bombs". Hopefully they'll be Ok, but I'd keep an eye on them.
