Cleaning Solution for Fiberglass Hull!!

So I noticed that my Hull from the waterline down is turning more ivory. I do not slip my boat. When I first got it it was off white and now its like getting ivory color. anything will help it bring back to its orginal gel coat color. Im thinking of polishing and waxing it soon. but i want to fix the first issue first...

I had some staining down below the waterline. Used bar keepers friend you can find in any store and it came off easily. Quick application and rinse off well, then wash and wax. Stuff works good for rust also but don't let it drip on your trailer, I've heard it attacks galvanized metal.

It depends on waht's causing it. If it is being discolored from growth on top of the gel coat, FSR or better yet May Kate's "On and #^&#^&#^&#^& will bring it back. If its being discolored from the UV rays of the sun, nothing is going to bring it back sort of New Gel coat. or a vigorus application of compound. Try the On and off and see if it works, if it doesn't learn to live with it or compound it away.

The best thing to remove stains is lysol toilet bowl cleaner the one with rust remover. Wet the hull down put it on with a sponge(use rubber gloves)let it sit for ten minutes then rinse it off. It works well and its inexpensive. It strips all the wax off too.

Just curious, have you noticed beneath your drain holes or scuppers any scares that stand out?
