Recent update on Bill!!!
Hi all, well things got bad again yesterday as he was supposed to have a tracheostomy done and a feeding tube put in his stomach as they are giving him IV nutrition but he basically needs more substance as he has been in the hospital and has not eaten in like 33 days. But the evening before they put a new line in his chest for dialysis and took the line out of his groin as it is much safer in the chest to protect him from infection.
He did well thru that procedure, but when he got back to his room his BP started to crash so they have to give him fluids and meds to keep it back up. He was also in pain so they put him back on a dilauded pump, only problem was he had a hive reaction to that a few days ago so they had to take him off of it. But some bright person ordered it again for pain and he had a major allergic reaction again, when I got into his room yesterday he was having body tremors was very flushed in the face and hives all over his body, I was shocked to say the least. Just unreal, like he has not had enough set backs already, some idiot puts him back in a bad situation. He was also running a fever off and on yesterday.
I just called in to see how he is doing this morning and he is not very good, they are prepping him for a CT scan as he has a fever again, I just hope he is not getting infection in his abdomen again, he just can not take too many more hits. He is now scheduled for the Trach in a few days but now who knows when it will be done, and they need to do it so they can get him off the breathing machine and hopefully back on the road to recovery. I know you all are praying and I am grateful to everybody for their prayers, please keep them going!!!
We love you guys, I don't care how many fishing web sites are out there, this crew is one of the most caring groups of fishermen a person could have on their side no matter what the reason. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!
For the Afterhours Crew, Bigfish, Salty, Rphud and all of you who have donated you wares and time and all the guys who have participted in these auctions and stuff to raise money for Bill and I, THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!!
