Red Cod
Was fishing out of Plymouth this morning. Not a bass to be found but we slayed cod.
Caught 22 cod in all and a few small pollack.
I'm curious though, they were all very very red. Is this because all they are eating is lobster and redcrabs or something? One big one puked up a lobster that probably weighed about a lb.
Amusingly enough, caught them all bouncing a deadly #^^^^& and storm shads.

Cod are the chameleons of the sea. They match the bottom. Different bottom, different color.

I've heard it said that red cod are resident fish while green cod just migrated to the area. No idea if its true or not.
