Unhappy

I was at the canal yesterday and there were a few herring in the run but not many. I did however see some cormorants trying to swallow whole herring to the left of the run but that episode was short lived so I don't imagine there were a lot of fish there. I f there were I think that more birds would have been on the feed. If I were you I would wait for better reports before making the trip.

Tight lines, soon I hope.

Monday when I was at Shell Point I saw an osprey flying with a large hickory shad in it's talons. Pretty cool to see. Only sign of life I saw in the water was jellyfish. With this warmer weather I'll bet there's more signs of fish today.
