firefox
i can't click on smilies in firefox and get them to go into a reply, actually clicking on the tools above the box I am typing on here can't work either, like sizes, colors etc. any of that stuff.
how can I make that work again with firefox?
it all worked in the recent past
thanks
oh, the smilies work when I click them if I use Chrome so it's not my computer I think.

I gave up on FireFox over a year ago, been really happy with Chrome!

yeah Slip, the different versions kinda got buggy when
the newer versions (still in the Beta (tryout) stage) wouldn't
support certain functions.... so, i shift around between google chrome
windows internet explorer but rarely use firefox anymore until they re invent it.
the thing to remember is.... "when asked by your computer"
do you want to make so and so your primary browser ...just say yes all the time.
just my opinion of course, because you can always go into your control panel
and select internet -properties- and modify stuff at will.

The problem is that Mozilla is re-inventing way to fast.It went from stable version 4 to 8 in less than a year. There's the Aurora build and v.9 out there and if you're a real risk taker like me I'm posting this on a nightly build of v.10!

I found firefox worked great until I added some add-on apps then it all went to hell.

it's just a firefox setting you have to find.... Bruce
it'll say something like
allow animations to run on web pages
and the box will be unchecked
so look for those magic titles that say settings or options
on the firefox front page
and even DARE to go into advanced and LOOK
