cleaning fish oil....
did something dumb this year. I use bunker oil on my sluggos and poured some into a 5 gal bucket so I could dip and then cast. Well, I had some up on the raised deck and as i sped off to a another spot, the bucket fell, rolled down the length of my boat spilling nasty bunker oil. Since I continued to fish, I tracked the oil all over the deck which quickly turned into a black, dirty mess. I was hoping there was some magical formula that would disolve the mess and turn my boat back to white.........any ideas?

I do the same all summer except I don't scrub anything. I pour 2 gallons of bleach on every surface on the boat and let it sit. The sun and the bleach work wonders and after it rains the boat looks like you worked on it for hours. Bill Nolan taught me that trick

sell the boat.
as every has said...bleach is the cheapest and best marine cleaning solvent but you really don't want it running off into the marina and you want to keep it off your galvanized trailer and stainless fittings if you can.
