ChefChris401 does it again

Took the women to Luxe Burger for her birthday today. For those of you who dont know Chef manages the kitchen at Luxe Burger in Providence RI. Chris and his kitchen staff WOW'd me again with the food and presentation 5 star.

We started off with the Buffalo Calamari. It was not to spicy hot or not to mild, it was prepared just tangy tasty right. I love the way the banana peppers were integrated into the dish, it appeared as if the calamari was prepared with them in it, instead of added on later on like some restaurants do, it gave it that just right taste. If that wasn't enough a side of rich creamy buttermilk ranch dressing came along with it.

The little women washed this down with a S'mores Milk Shake, presentation was amazing had a caramel guuuuuuey layer around the rim with a roasted marshmallow on a Luxe Burger Flag! One sip and she was in heaven untill........ ( read on to find out )

If you have never been to Luxe burger or have never heard of it, its a build your own burger restaurant. This is even fun for adults, you grab a pad and pencil and start down the 10 step program menu and decide just EXACTLY how you want your burger. I do recommend you add the tots, instead of the fries!

If i was to post exactly how we had our burgers made this would be the longest post in history, just trust a fat man when he says WOW and over a burger. One of the best parts was watching my girl try to eat the burger she built, the waiter had to keep bringing her napkins as the juices ran down both her arms

OH and for the heaven part, yesterday was her birthday, and since my surgery i have only left the house once and that was to visit a good friend and his family on thanksgiving ( thanks Andy ), so she wanted to make the day of it while we were in providence getting my tests done for my next surgery Monday. I sent Chris a super top secret text and asked what he had for a birthday cakes for a chocolate deprived women. He responded with i got just the thing and only asked if i wanted a candle!

Not to long later Chris brought this master piece to the table, AMAZING!

So hats off to ChefChris and Luxe Burger again for a amazing meal, great atmosphere, and great conversation. If you have never been to Luxe burger I suggest you head on down and have some fun, bring the kids they will love to make there own burger. see you soon!

Nice review skippy! Glad your lady enjoyed it.

You guys are welcome to come in and stuff your faces before the portly anglers challenge. You'll see why I have a hard time losing weight being around all this delicious food.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought there were going to be pics of more scantilly clad hot women.

I'm in Providence 5 days a week and Luxe Burger sounds like it's right up my alley. I really need to get in there and try it one of these days.
