Weweantic Ramp

Is it okay and safe to leave my truck and trailer overnite..maybe 2.
I'm trying to go to the Vineyard without making it a 90 mile boat ride from the North Shore.
Any suggestions?
I would let the authority know so they wouldn't think I went missing.
Who is the Authoriy for the ramp... M.D.P.W.???
Thanks
Burnsey

Leave out of Pease Ramp Fairhaven, Middle Street, straight shot to Quick's Hole and MV. Other option is Seaview/Ocean Ave near West Island, straight shot to Woods Hole and MV. Not sure about leaving vehicle several days. Call Fairhaven Harbor Master 508-984-4529 (I think)

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I'm not sure that ramp off 195 is safe to leave anything at, I would vote against that.

Fairhaven may be better

I always use the Fairhaven ramps, they great! that 195 ramp is a mud hole you will be stuck at when tide is down!! watched a friend spit mud up over there one time , all i could say was wow! only for a tiny boat!

I fish out of the Westport River and can be fishing off Gay Head in 30 minutes, by cutting through Cuttyhunk harbor. I've never had any issue there, unless Clammer is on board and giving a local nutbag a large piece of his mind.

use the ramp in mataipoisett dump the boat in then drive up the street and park in the town lot it's a 1/4 mile walk back but 200' off the dock WOT check it out Brownell uses it
youll probally have someone stay with the boat , washdown nice tie up and lights
no ramp rage either
