Arrow If you've ever caught a mahi-mahi you might enjoy this...

Striped bass have the edge when it comes to a truly magical fish, however there's a lot to be said for dueling with dolphin. Here's a little tribute photo essay I cobbled together.

Awesome photos. I think fresh out of the water, it is the best tasting fish in the world and a beauty.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the photos.

I have to agree with you that mahi-mahi ranks in the top 10 of all fish I've eaten...and I've tried every kind of fish I could get my hands on. African pompano ranks high, so does trigger fish, triple tail, wahoo, big eye tuna, bluefin, yellowfin, king salmon, even raw escolar in very, very small servings.

I had a friend who worked a long time on a big freighter. They used to troll off the back and sides for Mahi Mahi all the time. Big treat for dinner when they landed some!
