Futures at Fenway
Anyone else go? What a freaking joke it was.
Aside from 1/2 price franks all the concessions were normal price. You'd think with an event for kids and a dozen+ Star Wars characters you'd actually get to see them. Hell, maybe even do something for the 45 minutes it took the grounds crew to reset the field...nope, let's just show some Clone Wars cartoon that nobody watches at ear splitting volume.
We arrived late and left early. Even the kids were bored out of their minds.

It's all about the brand. I'm sure Larry L. and John H. assume you and your family had an excellent time visiting the "living museum" that is Fenway Park.

Spence, if you want to see the Star Wars characters, go to the Star Wars day at McCoy when the PawSox do it in May. I've taken my son a few times and they do a nice job. Plus, they let the kids run the bases after the game.

I think they did the base run at Fenway...if there was anybody left to do it.

I went last year and had a blast.
The conseccions were ALL priced at the "farm" team's home stadium prices.
Heck, they even had refillable soda.
I guess they must have forgotten who tends to see these games, or they are showing the the "true" futures at Fenway will really be like?
We even made the trip to see the Lowell Spinners.
Affordable and fun!
