bay boats
I am back in the market for a boat. Fishing freshwater from shore isnt as cool as surfcasting. I need something that can handle big lakes and coastal bay fishing - bay boats seem to fit the mix. Anyone have any experience with Sea Hunt, Nautic Star, Skeeter bay boats? am looking @ 22ft
Nautic Star has nice one and there is a 2008 for sale near me, loaded.
I really like the layout of these boats, most I see come with 200+ hp which I think are nuts given their size.

i really like the skeeters, but i don't think your other choices are bad, either...
200HP helps you cover a lot of water fast, some of those impoundments(sp?) are 50+ miles long...

I was really liking the Action Craft Coastal Bay 2110 when they first came out. Pricey but built on a flats boat design. There was a charter guy down the cape that would fish the flats and shoot out to school bluefin action on a good day.
