does anyone have any input on this reel? looks like it would be good for live lining macks and pogies. how is the drags on these reels and how well will it hold up, mainly going to be used in a boat so casting not going to be a issue. Options for upgrades? any help would be great. thanks merry christmas to all

Had a Swedish made 7001 on the boat, but it felt a little cumbersome, so I sold it here. Look at the Abu Record 61. Levelwind, thumb bar, smooth casting, and can upgrade drag. Small enough so you are not fighting the reel from wanting to roll to the underside, yet enough balls to handle good fish, including my PB.
I would recommend the Record 61HC (high capacity) and getting the power handle.

good here, was real busy. You know how everyone wanted it done yesterday. thanks for the info I should of took a look at yours when I ran into you many times on the water. Hope you stay busy this winter, so you can take the time off this summer, when the big girls show up.
