Went to the Waitsfield F.M. this summer and you would not believe the flippin line they had going on to get their stuff. It was so rediculous I wanted no part of standing in line that long.....though I am not going to lie, the sheer volume of people going crazy over the stuff did have the beer lover in me curious. Still couldnt bring myself to wait in that line though so I have still yet to try their stuff

Hey, a visitor just dropped off several bottles of Lawson's Black IPA. I think I may just have to open one...

I had their Maple Imperial Stout a few weeks ago after a trip up to Sugarbush. Really good. Vermont is making some ridiculous beers right now.

I tried their Spring Fling IPA and Sunshine IPA over the weekend. Both were over the top amazing. Incredible hoppy flavor with some nice finish on the tongue... a slight hint of citrus.
All of the beer I saw in 3 stores is packaged in 22 oz brown bottles with foil on the neck. He drops it off in the local stores and it is gone by the end of the day.
Makes you want to visit Waitsfield and Warren more often.

Maple Imperial Stout at the Three Penny in in Montpelier this afternoon was awesome. Luckily they had a Lawson's dinner the night before and a few left on tap today.
Trying to buy any Lawson's to bring home.....purely hopeless.
Looks like you have to be there when it is delivered to the store or you are SOL! (no, not the "other" site neither).

I hope you stopped at Prohibition Pig in Waterbury for great beers and a memorable beef brisket sandwich. It is the old home of the Alchemist brewery that got washed away.

We did in fact "stop". but alas, they were not open for business. Next stop on the "map of beerie places" was Three Penny. First run thru VT on the beer safari. Had some very good beers and food, and learned a bit. Probably be a bit better planned out next safari.
