EELGRASS

EELGRASS HAS BEEN IN SURF FOR PAST THREE DAYS ON SOUTH COUNTY BEACHES MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SURf CAST. WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?

Full moon tides lift it off of the salt pond beaches and marsh grass and then it gets blown out of the breach ways. Then it moves down the beaches.

Actually there is eel grass everywhere in the upper Bay right now. I had a ton of it around me on the tide turn Sunday morning

No boat, back in the suds.
