syphon gas from boat
anyone have any ideas, like what pump to use ? I can't get it through the filler ,but can access through the deck plate cover .
Maybe one of the vac pumps ?

Use a pump designed to move fuel. like an electric gas pump. You don't want any stray sparks around when you doing that.

You don't need a pump unless the container is above the gas tank.
Atmospheric pressure will do just fine.
Take a long enough hose, fill it with gas, plug one end with your thumb, put the other end in the gas tank, lower the end in your hand to a container below the gas tank and let go with your thumb. It will flow as fast as the hose allows.

I got a pump at Tractor Supply it will do the job , plus come in handy for other jobs

old gas haven't used boat for 2 years I've kept stabilizer and it runs . I just feel I need to get it empty and add fresh gas when I winterize it
