Conanicut Marine 2013 Tautog Tourney
Not sure if anyones seen the flyers around but my Marina is having a Tog tourney on sunday. A bunch of good prizes and cookout with clam cakes and chowder on the docks after. Beer too. Not positive but i think Kettlebottom is bringing one of the guys from Wicked Tuna. Theyll have grills set up on the docks if you want to cook your catch. Theres alot of transiant dockage. Should be a blast, if anyone wants to try and challenge Dog Daze for the Tog Title!

Can anyone just stop by the docks or do you have to be a participant? It would be cool to come down and check out the scene...

I heard Kettlebottom won with a 7.5ish fish. Jay can correct me if I'm wrong.
Saw a lot of fish that size taken from the rocks last week before the surf picked up...

Correct . That's what happens when that's the only boat that could make it out front that day. Everyone else was stuck in the bay.
Good time though

Those rollers on the reef Sunday were no joke. All of 6ft on the humps. I turned around at the 4 can. Not for me. Then Monday was glass. The difference a day makes.
