				Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale

Found on secret tap at a local restaurant down in the cellar bar while talking beers with the tender. BA and The Bros both rate this as "outstanding" and I tend to agree. This is an American black ale. Also grabbed the last two four packs at the local store. Best description I saw was "like an imperial IPA and a robust porter". Looks to be brewed year round, but this is a winter beer for sure. |

				 | Haven't had the sculpin yet......will have to put it on the list.
I'd put the ruination second to Heady.....been nursing a couple of those this weekend.

				 | Headin' down that way (Jersey) after Christmas, so I will have to grab me sum dat Victory.
Interesting note it that the Brothers scored Sculpin a 100. Go figure, another great So Cal IPA.

				 | Haven't had heady or Pliny. Have tried most of the readily available ones and sculpin is best, especially when I can find it in 12 oz bottles (rare round here). Maybe they're just more fresh but always seem a bit better than the easy to find bombers. Want to find the cans but don't think they make it east.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

				 | A woman I work with brought me back a couple of 4-packs of heady last week saving some of that for christmas, Another Guy I work with is bringing back some Pliny from CA this week....haven't had that yet so looking forward to it.
Heady Topper is an amazing beer....but it is a pain in the azz to get.
