Jackbass I think what got Angie hooked on fishing other than the obvious thrill of catching, the challenge of it and the beauty of the fish was even more so the beauty of what was around us? A star filled sky at night with shooting stars, a beautiful sunrise or sunset, a whale passing by or a deer appearing suddenly from nowhere. Just things that so many people who do not fish or spend alot of time outdoors seem to miss out on! We have been to the beautiful island of Cuttyhunk together which she absolutely loved, we have spent Summers down the back beaches of the Cape driving the beaches of Race Point and we have fished so many local areas from the surf and from the kayaks......there is so much to experience and to see and enjoy you just have to get out there! I have said it before....catching fish is the bonus!
I remember one of the first times I got her up at 2am to go fishing and she dragged her butt out of bed and we made the trip and got there and she thought we were crazy....until the sun came up over the canal and the fish started to break and there was so much going on. She realized then that it was not always about the fishing!

You got that spot on!
Most of my friends and family think I'm crazy for fishing where and when I do, but if they only knew what peace and tranquility it brings me, they would be singing a different tune.
I've started taking pictures on occaision during some of my kayak trips (posted in the kayak forum) and they loved the pics.
Of course they presume that it was a "one in a million" shot, but then I tell them I see it all the time....I just have to open my eyes and LOOK!!!
Congrats on a great video tribute!
The problem now is how do you top that for Valentines Day???

Larry ... that is great stuff ... you are a lucky man ... and I now understand where you get all of your fish to hold up in your photos for yourself ... keep her happy ... and glad you used that Stevie Ray Vaughn tune Lenny, it's one of my favorites by him. Thanks for sharing.
