Question marking spools

ok what do you guys and girls, use to mark the differrent spools of line on youre reels?you know like one spool has 20# the other has 17# .

By feel and look.

I suppose you could put a piece of tape on each spool or write on it with a marker ?

On a spinner . you put a little paper stick on dot on the back flat face of the spool.

marker on the inside top of the spool
