Congrats to Slipnot
For breaking the 40 lb mark tonight, what a beautiful fish, wish I'd had a camera with me. You fish hard Bruce and you deserve it, you fish hog . Figures, I'm late moving with him and get to the spot he's headed and 2nd cast he's on this fish.
Saltheart nailed 2 nice fish tonight as well, a 17 and 24 lber I think. I had one maybe 26 inches and dropped one that felt good. Too bad Bruce wasn't in for the MSBA tourney, that would have been a good shore fish, I was hoping for one tonight for myself. Oh well tomorrow night I'm doing the easy boat fishing , well I hope it is anyway.
It's late but I'm all wound up. Nice fishing with the boys tonight, next time it's Smokies and my turn right?

i guess the beach bum still knows how to jig...
heck of a weight for a 45 inch fish...thats how they should all be...
i knew one of us would yank a 40 out of that rip sooner or later...

There's a reason for the shorts, too---along with doing some jigging, slip was booked to give some swimming lessons
