Damn wind!
Hard SW all week, surf 4-6. Thats bigger than I am comfortable with running out front at night.
Looks like I'll be saving gas this week.

people who are slaves to the man!!!!! Wish I could fish only weekdays. But we gotta pay the bills.
Truthfully, I can't tell the difference at night. VERY few people fish at night regardless of what day it is. Daylight is a COMPLETELY different story.

you right Joe ,, very , very few .. ya gotta get a partner /especially for night fishing .
I,ve had too many experiences at night that could have turned out real bad ::
get south of the bridge .nights are so peaceful , been alwhile since I,ve fish nights , except in the winter & spring from near home .
But I also don,t target any large stripers except the short commercial season in RI

Forecast for tonight and tomorrow night is for 25 to 30 knots gusts. 15 to 20 sustained. I am not running to Anawan with that wind. The heave in there will be murder right into the cliffs.

i dont like fishing at night in that kinda of swell. Or anytime really. One rogue swell on the reef can put you right in the rocks. If its happening. i wanna be able see it.

Was out yesterday wife wanted to go to Newport With friends figured what the hell test out the new boat ride in some slop, out wasn't bad ride in got a little wet SW wind and outgoing tide some spots it stacked up . around 5 pm end result I need trim tabs .could only trim so much with just the engine. and the wife a little sore from hanging on for dear life , she 'll be truthful next time I ask are you comfortable. am i going to fast
and to end the day My friend decides hes going to HELP by jumping to the dock with the bow rope with out a word he jumps on the gunnel Bare feet which keep traveling out from under him now he's between the boat and the dock His wifes screaming he's going to get crushed , he was fine could have ended much worse no injury's and Alcohol was not involved . that is why I dont drink on the boat
