Life vest (suspenders) or fanny pack life jacket

Who's got what ?
Going to pick up 2 new either inflatable suspender type life vest or the fanny pack type for Leo & Matty.
Got Leo taking out the BHM alone a few days a week and the 2 of them taking an aluminum skiff on the lakes fresh water and want to make sure they come home.
Thanks.

Also. You really think they will wear those out alone all day when it's really hot ?
(This reminds me I have a few pairs of kids Grundens that are like new I should list In the classifieds)
I've had had plenty of guys out on charters bring their own vest or fanny pack and they are pretty comfortable in them all day.
Never had to see the fanny pack in action but pretty sure they get submerged or they can pull the cord they inflate and part gets pulled up over their head.

Ron,
Many will suggest a self inflating vest in case the person is unable to inflate and don the vest in case of injury (hit head on the way overboard) or medical issue.
Fanny pack may only be appropriate for the skiff on the ponds.
Your a good Dad.
