According to some things I've read - yes, Nova Scotia is in the range of school sized fish...

According to Woolner&Lyman there is a St. Lawrence breeding group in addition to the Hudson and Chesapeake group we usually fish for. They say these fish don't travel far from the St. Lawrence Seaway and are apt to have kinks in the stripes on their sides, Eh? See you on the beach...Longshot

I have often wondered if P.E.I. or the Magdalenes had any fish. There certainly is a rip in the Bay of Fundy.......

Baitcaster knows of a spot way up the atlantic coast that has a three week fishery for our beloved striped friends

I fish NB almost every year, there are stripers up there, they chase the horse macks when they go up to spawn.

Last year I caight a 3lb horse mack on a 5wt rod

We chummed em with sabiki rigs and then I cast a 1/2 a clouser

I'm also curious about this. I'm heading to Bar Harbor for the weekend and was debating if it was worth bringing some gear. I would be fishing from the shore. Has anyone ever caught stripers there or would I be perfecting my casting skills all weekend?
