I personally know the guy Chris Gillis that fixes your reel at Shimano Canada. He is the only repair guy I've had that took a trashed Curado and made it mint. And it is mint for 8 years and counting.

Plus you guys get 30% on the money. I would consider it.

What year is the Bait Runner? I have a guy here in Chicoppee, MA that has been servicing my older model ones for years. He does a great job. He is a one man business and is usually pretty backed up this time of year. I typically send him them during the Winter. But I could get you his number if you need it?

seriously send it to shimano. Mine only took a couple of weeks and its right as rain now. It was so messed up from getting packed with sand due to an unfortunate kayak landing incident on Cuttyhunk, Martha at surfland took a look at it and said "send it to shimano"
