Orvis Breathable Waders

Has anyone experienced repetitive problems with leakage with Orvis Breathable waders? I need to go in tonight to pick up my 6TH pair since last may. I bought the $265 model. The left boot/ leg always seems to go on me down towards the seam between the boot and the neoprene cuff and the material. I have checked to see if it is something I am doing wrong with them, and can't seem to pinpoint a cause/ reason. I am thinking that from knelling down frequently to eel up and unhook fish( ) that I am some how stretching out that seam too much. I am wondering if I need to go with a taller model to allow more leg room. Any input or advice is greatly appreciated. Orvis loves me. God bless the warranty.

PS- I had about 2 inches of water in my left boot BEFORE I took the digger last night on to my left knee. Infact, I think the leaky waders were the root cause of my stumble..........

Must be a bad mojo w/ those Orvis Breathables! I was wearing a pair when I took my digger at weeky and busit' up my arm.

They did get a slight tear, way up toward the top (have no idea how that happened) but the knees look fine. Haven't had em' back in the water since as I've been paddling.

No other problems with em' though.

Never heard of a person having the same problem that many times. They come in a variety of body styles - I would change to a roomier one and set the suspenders so they come up higher on the inseam.
I use them and I have never had a problem like that.

I work at Orvis and I have never seen anyone come into the store for a sixth time but I beleive you. I wear the Silver Labels and have not had a problem. I think it might be just extremely bad luck.

Swung into Boston Orvis last night and as always, they were courteously helpful. They were out of my model waders in my size boot so they hooked me up with the hiking boot model. Hopefully these will last.

I use the Caabelas Dry Plus II waders for $120. I bet the heck out of them fishin the ledges and no problems.

Orvis makes pretty good stuff and their (former) warranty was pretty fabulous.

I'm also a big fan of Simms.

i'm on my fourth pair in les than two years,and the pair i have now are starting to leak as well.i refuse to take them back again.although they never ask any questions,i get the distinct feeling the guys at my local orvis shop think i'm pulling their leg.i'm done with orvis.

JUST GOT A PAIR OF SILVER LABELS ORVIS OUT OF CLEARWATERS IN MY SIZE.ORVIS REP AT STORE TOLD ME ORVIS IS CHANGING MANUFACTURES.CAN'T BEAT ORVIS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE-THATS WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR OVER A CHEAPER PRODUCT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
