Rappin Mikey=40#er?
Hey Guys,
Just got back from a charter with a buddy of mine who used to be a strait commercial from Gloucester.
Mikey had three large, one was 44' and I'd say at least 37#. We didn't have a scale, and my buddy had to leave to go fight fires in Fishtown, so we cut it and went home.
I was impressed, anybody who wants info please pm me, as I don't want to post "advertising" info on the site.
I'll say this, he was very cheap, very professional, and a great Captain to be out with.
Later,
Rick

yeah!!!! I'll download some pictures when I have a chance. That one was nothing to the one I lost at the Race the day before. The friggin thing spooled me in about 30 seconds. I tightened the drag when I could see my mono backing, and snap!!! It snaped my 30 # Power Pro. I've tried to break that stuff before when I have been snagged and bent the hook. That fish must have been a monstrosity. I felt like crying and was sure it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. Anyway, it tugged much, much hartder then that 44" that I landed. I know, I should be happy. And I am. It's coming. The Fall Run!!!!!!!
