Dinged Prop
We were following a twisting narrow channel up river and went a little off course....Is this small dent something I should be concerned about? I could file it smooth, but don't want to upset the balance or just try to straighten it, or I could just leave it alone.

I'd leave it if you don't see/feel any issues. You can get it repaired in the off season.

Crescent wrench to straighten, two hammers to smooth (one behind the spot you are striking to smooth) File to finish

definitely clean that up in the manner Ross suggested.. if you don't...it may lead to enough cavitation to weaken the area ...

LoL....yea you did.... but I built the boat to use hard and a few scratches dont concern me.
I will get the prop repaired..... but I may buy a new one and keep the old one as a spare.
Thanks for the suggestions

I would have it fixed. Running a engine with a bent blade induces a 'wobble" that can mess up the lower unit seal/bearings........creating a bigger problem down the road.
