Got in the car to go and boom. Truck won't start. Have to bring it to Newton tomorrow. I am out.
Have fun you guys. I will be eating the subs I made for the trip (roast pork loin, roast beef, pepper jack, and bacon). I wish I was fishing.

First off, the beauty of the night was awesome. Warm breeze with a lumpy sea on the beginning of the trip out, followed by a brilliant sunset. The breeze and sea began to lay down as the sun disappeared over the horizon. Fifteen minutes later the moon rose big and bright.
And then it was game on! First fish on the deck was smallest of the night, in the 30's#. After that, they were all 40# class fish. The fishery blows my mind. Great time with good friends, lots of laughs and stories between re-tying, re-eeling, re-setting drifts, and a broken rod.... As soon as the tide went slack, the fleet thinned out dramatically. We tried for a little bit longer as we had one who did not land a fish, but were soon headed for the barn. RI EPOs were waiting for us, and we passed inspection. Got home to Marblehead just as the sky was starting to turn light. Can't wait to go back. Thanks, guys. Was fun.

You were missed, Bob. No wraps, but she had done up some southern fried chicken. As usual, no one ate until the fishing was done... And as usual, it was a slamming run out there....

How sketchy is it out there at night in shallow water with all those rocks? Do you have lights.
