Splash pants recommendation

Looking to replace my grundens petrus waist pants which have seen better days. I typically use them for shore fishing when wading is not required (jetties, rocky coast, etc). Trying to decide whether to do grundens again or upgrade to stormr, nrs or other. Any recommendations? Not looking to spend a ton, say 150 on the high end. Don't feel like I need full bibs. I I did I'd just go with waders. Thanks.

Clogston,

Not sure if these will fit your "bill" but I have these for work and have worn them in a hurricane. I can honestly say, I was bone dry! They're relatively "short money" but really work well! I really like the knee-high zipper to get boots into. These will be my new go-to rain pants next year.

NRS...unless you are talking the kevlar bullet proof pants...hahaahha.

I have a couple of really old pairs ....had them for a decade. The ones
I have may not have the modern features the current ones have. I
used them for kayak fishing. One pair had latex cuffs...which kept
water out but I would not recommend, as you kind of need to a
contortionist to get out of them. The other had latex ankle cuffs with velcro...works perfectly.

I like the ones I have....they are fine and inexpensive. The only
downside the material on the ones I have are not very breathable,
but they probably use really old tech.

good luck.

I have a pair of beans stocking foot wader pants that i wear on occasion and also have a pair of Columbia snowboard pants that wear. They are Omnitex or whatever their version of Goretex is. Basically canvas pants with a zipper on the pant legs to get over boots. They have velcro cuffs, not a bad pant at all, they are bulletproof.

Everything is better on the rocks.
