Porcello wins Cy Young
Congrats. I was wrong. I wasn't alone though in my opinion of him last year. Eating crow.
I posted this 7/29/15
Porcello is awful.... 2 plus innings, 10 hits, leaves two men on trailing 6-0..... Any hope for getting something out of his 4 year 82.5 million dollar deal??????
Now hoping Mookie gets MVP

I'm in the same boat... went to one game all last year and I remember looking at the schedule thinking "ah #^&#^&#^&#^&, we got a PORCELLO game!"
Now I'm happily eating my words. Hell of a season and a really crazy way to continue the Sox pattern of "worst to first"

He was great this year all season long. I'm really happy he got this award and the recognition.
We have a member here, "Detbuch" I think his name is who I think lives out in the Detroit area. He was telling us that Porcello has some serious talent and we're going to see some good things from him and not to give up on this guy. He was spot-on right.

As a (less) occasional poster in the political forum, it is nice to see Detbuch right about something!

Hey! . . . I resemble that! I do, actually, like Porcello a lot better than Trump. (Think I got that right too.)
